Today, the matter is listed under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. He would submit that the land in question belongs to the 2nd respondent and if at all the 1st respondent considers the request of the petitioner for grant of patta, views/opinion/objections of the 2nd respondent have to be considered.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader who appears for the 1st respondent.

It is needless to state that the 1st respondent while considering the request made by the petitioner for grant of patta, shall invite the objections/opinion, after putting the 2nd respondent on notice and thereafter, consider the claim of the petitioner as well as the objections/representation of the 2nd respondent in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the 2nd respondent.

The order of this Court dated 30.06.2016 made in WP.No.22623/2016 is clarified accordingly.
