This writ petition has been filed to quash the Notification, dated 28/3/2014 issued by the third respondent in his Telex Message R.II-25/2011 RECTT (HC LDCE - 11 in so far as item No.50 is concerned and to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue as Head Constable/GD in the force.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that since the reversion of the rank order of the petitioner was cancelled, nothing survives in this writ petition.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is open to him to work out his remedy in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P is closed.
