Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 24.01.2015 filed by the petitioner. For Petitioner :

Heard Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner ; and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.Since the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with and the allegation made against the 3rd respondent by the petitioner is not gone into and it is left open to the 1st respondent to consider the same.

3.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction upon the 1st respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 10.12.2013 passed by the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Sriperumbudur. The appeal has been sent by Registered Post and acknowledged by the office of the Sub Collector, on 29.01.2015.

4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions in the appeal petition, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal petition dated 24.01.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the 3rd respondent and after hearing the parties in person and thereafter, pass a reasoned order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
