This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to quash the proceedings in Crime No.20 of 2021. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in Crime No.20 of 2021, investigation has been completed and charge sheet has already been filed in SR.No.2602 of 2022 on 07.09.2022 before the Special Court, Villupuram and the same is not taken on file. 3.

In view of the above, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
