This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representations including the representation dated 02.03.2020 and cause removal of the obstructions to the Government poramboke land in S.No.116/5 of Periyakuthagai Village, Vedaranyam Taluk, Nagappattinam District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 02.03.2020, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the removal of obstructions caused by the private respondents in the Government Poramboke land. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents submitted that the second respondent has already called the parties for enquiry on 15.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the parties will be enquired and final orders will be passed within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to afford sufficient opportunity to both the parties and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
