O R D E R

The petitioner is the legal representative of Thiru V.Venugopal, who worked as Forest Ranger in the office of Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry Division, Coimbatore. The father of the petitioner died in harness on 14.09.2005. The petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment on 1.4.2008. Since the said representation was not taken up for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 1.4.2008 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
