ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Villupuam, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Crime No.125 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3 respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner abused him by making caste-related remarks. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Villupuam, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime nd No.125 of 2026 on the file of the 2 respondent police. The petitioners shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 06-05-2026 DRL Note : Issue Order Copy on 06.05.2026
