Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned circular, L.C.C. No.LC3/1483/2021 dated 12.07.2022 issued by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently to follow the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 to find out the vending and non-vending zones in view of the Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Schemes and Rules, 2015 in proper perspective.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The prayer sought in the present writ petition is to call for the records pertaining to the impugned circular, L.C.C. No.LC3/1483/2021 dated 12.07.2022 issued by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently to follow the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 to find out the vending and non-vending zones in view of the Tamil Nadu Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Schemes and Rules, 2015 in proper perspective.
2. Though such a prayer has been sought in this writ petition, Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that as to whether a particular zone is a vending zone or non-vending zone since has to be decided by the Town Vending Committee, which has been constituted recently vide the Government Order in G.O (4D) No.29, Municipal Administration & Water Supply (MC.2) Department, dated 07.08.2023, learned counsel would contend that before the Town Vending Committee, the petitioner could pursue the matter in the manner known to law.
3. Having recorded the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.17884 to 17886 of 2022 stands closed. (R.S.K., J.) (A.D.J.C., J) 08.08.2024 drm To:
