ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G. R. Swaminathan J) Heard both sides.

The petitioner had suffered an adverse order passed under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act and preferred an appeal under Section 10 of the Act before the second respondent. All that the petitioner wants is disposal of the said appeal.

We direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the appeal is disposed of, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner. 4.
