Prayer in W.P.No.16040 of 2020: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to extend the time atleast till the lifting of lock down in its entirety for vacating and handing over possession of the respective residential portion of the petitioner situate at No.21/3, Government Employees residential colony at Peters Road Colony, Royapettai, Chennai 600 014 insofar as the petitioner is concerned. Prayer in W.P.No.16042 of 2020: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to extend the time for vacating and handing over possession of the respective residential portion of the petitioner situate at No.21/14, Government Employees residential colony at Peters Road Colony, Royapettai, Chennai 600 014 insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

These writ petitions are filed seeking direction to the respondents to extend the time for vacating and handing over possession of the respective residential portion of the petitioners situate at No.21/3 and No.21/4 respectively, Government Employees residential colony at Peters Road Colony, Royapettah, Chennai - 600 014, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the order passed in W.P.Nos.15814, 15822 and 15824 of 2020 dated 05.11.2020, wherein, similar relief sought for by the petitioners therein was negatived, the present Writ Petitions seeking for the very same relief cannot be entertained.

Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. The petitioners are granted time till 15.11.2020 to vacate and handover the possession to the official respondents/TNHB. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
