ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR.No.18 of 2009 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.18 of 2009 has been completed and final report is ready. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. This Court has perused the case and CD file and found that the petitioner has collected enough material so as to launch the prosecution against the accused named in the FIR and final report is also ready . Under such circumstances, this is not a fit case to quash the FIR at this stage.

5. In the result, this petition is dismissed with a direction to the respondent police to file a final report before the jurisdiction Magistrate, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the petitioner to raise all the points before the trial Court in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
