Ms.Sindhuza, learned counsel on behalf of Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable a final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner's plea is for disposal of representation dated 05.01.2024 for grant of electricity connection for the property at 123A, Thiruvalluvar Street, Thiruvaluvar Street, Mettukulam, Koyambedu, Chennai - 600 107.

3. Ms.Sindhuza draws attention to Regulation 27 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code to state that an application would have to be filed online for this purpose.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, in such circumstances, would suitably advice the petitioner to do the needful in this regard.

5. Mandamus as prayed for is thus not liable to be issued in the circumstances outlined above.
