Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2024 by which to conduct the enquiry with regard to cancel the patta in the name of Gnanasekaran was obtained by fraud and patta pass book given in favour of Gnanansekaran for petitioner's nattam land bearing S.F.No.58/30 measuring 2.77 Cents in Govindapadi Village, Anaicut Taluk, Vellore District and direct the respondents to take criminal action against the said Gnanasekaran for the offence of forgery and cheating the Government. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2024 to conduct enquiry for cancelling the patta in the name of Gnanasekaran which was obtained by fraud and patta pass book given in favour of Gnanansekaran for petitioner's nattam land bearing S.F.No.58/30 measuring 2.77 Cents in Govindapadi Village, Anaicut Taluk, Vellore District and consequently, direct the respondents to take criminal action against the said Gnanasekaran for the offence of forgery and cheating the Government. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleaders for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given representation dated 02.05.2024 to cancel the patta in the name of Gnanasekaran which was obtained by fraud and patta pass book given in favour of Gnanansekaran for petitioner's nattam land bearing S.F.No.58/30 measuring 2.77 Cents in Govindapadi Village, Anaicut Taluk, Vellore Page No:2/4

District. However, the same has not been considered by the 1st and 2nd respondents. Hence, he seeks a direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the third respondent, within a period of two months weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
