Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for having violated the order in W.P.No.512 of 2020 dated 12.02.2020. ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondents under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for having violated the order in W.P.No.512 of 2020 dated 12.02.2020.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the petitioner has been paid a subsistence allowance arrears to the tune of Rs.7,64,991/- 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received this amount. But, however there is a shortage in the payment of the subsistence allowance.

4.In the considered view of this Court, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the calculation made by the respondent and there is shortage in payment of the subsistence allowance, it is left open to the petitioner to independently workout his remedy.

5.This Contempt petition is closed.
