ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to grant permits for Diesel Driven Auto Rickshaws of the petitioners in the Erode District.

2. The writ petition was filed in the year 2014 and on account of efflux of time, the relief as such sought for cannot be granted. If at all any other grievance exists for the petitioners, it is left open to them to approach the competent authority to redress the same, in the manner known to law.

3. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
