Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the Respondent police to conduct further investigation and include all the offences committed by the accused stated in the oral complaint on 11.08.2021 and considering petitioner's representation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kilpauk dated 16.08.2021 in Crime No.276 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the Respondent police to conduct further investigation and include all the offences committed by the accused as stated in the oral complaint dated 11.08.2021 and also consider petitioner's representation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kilpauk dated 16.08.2021 in Crime No.276 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.276 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323 IPC and 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though grievous offences have been disclosed against the accused, the respondent Police without proper investigation registered the complaint, in such a manner so that the accused could escape.

4. A perusal of the materials from the FIR it is seen that the petitioner installed CCTV Camera and the same was removed by her brothers and assaulted her. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint and the same was enquired by the respondent Police and registered an FIR.

5. However, considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to make a representation to the respondent Police to conduct investigation and to alter the First Information Report.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
