O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking to quash the impugned tender notification issued by the respondent dated __.05.2016 in Ref:AU/CANTEEN/TENDER/ 01/2016-17 in so far as it relates to Serial No.7, Study Center Canteen, Egmore, Chennai in Tender No:AU/C/10/2016-17 for an area of 845 Sq.ft.

2. When this matter was taken up, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner now only seeks some time to vacate the premises and hand over vacant possession to the respondent. The learned senior counsel further submitted that the petitioner is prepared to file an undertaking affidavit before this Court to the effect that he will vacate and hand over possession to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent on or before 06.11.2016 (Sunday).

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to handover vacant possession to the respondent on or before 06.11.2016 (Sunday) so as to enable the respondent to hand over possession to the new lessee on 07.11.2016 (Monday). The petitioner shall file an undertaking affidavit before this Court to the said effect on or before 01.11.2016. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
