This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2023. 2.It is the case of the the petitioner college made a representation on 1.12.2004 to the Special Officer, Boomi Dhana Board, Saidapet, intending to purchase the land belonging to the Boomi Dhana Board at the market price. Thereafter, the then Managing Trustee Hon'ble Justice A.Ramamurthi wrote a detailed letter letter to the Director, Land Reforms, Chepauk, Boomi Dhana Board on 1.11.2014. The Tahsildar, Needamangalam, wrote a detailed letter on 29.3.2016 to fix the price of the land situated at 339/2B2A Punjai 0.40.50 Hect., at Kovilveni and the market price was fixed at Rs.1654 cent. The DRO, Mannarkudi to the District Collector in this regard.

However, now, the District Revenue Officer, Thiruvarur once again by his letter dated 1.3.2022 directed the revenue authorities calling for detailed report from the Village Administrative Officer, Revenue Inspector and submit the same with the relevant records. Hence, in this regard, the petitioner has given a representation on 27.03.2023 to the District Collector to consider the proposal pending for a long time and a copy was marked to the Director, Land Reforms, Chepauk, Chennai. Hence, seeks a direction. 2/4
4. Heard both sides and perused the entire materials placed on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. On perusal of the documents, particularly, the correspondence between the DRO and the District Collector in Na.Ka.No.6899/2009/Aa2 dated 03.03.2017 makes it clear that in fact, the DRO, Mannarkudi has recommended for sale of 0.40.50 Hectares by way of fixing the market value. Such recommendation is pending. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
