Respondent [in both W.Ps.] COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petitions have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay subsistence allowance for the period of suspension from 05.10.2012 to the petitioners and to conclude the enquiry in respect of allegation alleged against them within a stipulated time.

For Petitioner : Mr.V.Rajinikanth [in both W.Ps.] For Respondent : Mr.Arumugarajan [in both W.Ps.] Standing Counsel C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed by the petitioners, namely, M.Selvam and S.Sivalingam, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to pay subsistence allowance for the period of suspension from 05.10.2012 to the petitioners and to conclude the enquiry in respect of the allegation made against them.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that after the order of suspension was passed against the petitioners, the enquiry was conducted, they were found guilty of the charges and finally, they were dismissed from service. Hence, the relief sought for in these Writ Petitions have become infructuous.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
