ORDER

Since no adverse Order has been passed as against the fifth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 21.03.2024 pending before the third respondent.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband's family have owned major extent of land in S.No.274/1 and the revenue records are also in the name of the husband of the petitioner. After the demise of her husband, as some other people encroached their land and claimed patta, the petitioner applied for patta and the same has been rejected by the fourth respondent. As against which, the petitioner filed appeal before the third respondent, which is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.03.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
