ORDER

This contempt petition was filed on the ground that the interim order passed by this Court in Crl.MP.No.748 of 2021 in Crl.OP.No.1228 of 2021, was not complied with.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the order of stay that was granted by this Court was subsequently vacated by an order dated 12.07.2023. In the meantime, the final report was also filed. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the final report was filed even before the order of stay was vacated by this Court.

3.In the considered view of this Court, considering the limited scope of contempt jurisdiction, this Court does not find that the final report filed by the police amounts to a contumacious conduct. This is more so since the learned single judge of this Court had proceeded to vacate the order of stay. 4.In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy by challenging the final report filed, if so advised.
