Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to convene a special meeting of the Syndicate of the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University on urgent basis in accordance with Chapter VIII 1[b] of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Statutes within a stipulated period to consider the application for affiliation submitted by the petitioner college for the academic year 2014-2015 along with the Inspection Report submitted by the Inspection Commission which conducted the Inspection of the petitioner college on 08.01.2015.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.

2.In view of the submission and endorsement made, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh writ petition before the Madurai Bench of this Court. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. 3.The Registry is directed to return the entire papers to the learned counsel for the petitioner to enable the petitioner to present the same before the Madurai Bench.
