ORDER

The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.11.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 304(2) of BNS 2023 in CC.No.435 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-II,

Udumalaipet, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution alleged is that the petitioners robbed the de facto complainant's two wheeler. Hence, the present case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case without any basis. It is further submitted that the petitioners are ready to cooperate with the investigation and will appear before the respondent police as and when required. The learned counsel further contended that the petitioners are ready to abide by any conditions imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of bail to the petitioners, reiterated the prosecution's case and submitted that the petitioners were arrested on 15.11.2025. He further submitted that nineteen previous cases are pending against the petitioners.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. From the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, it is

seen that the petitioners have got nineteen previous cases. This Court is of the firm view that if the petitioners are enlarged on bail at this juncture it will cause negative impact in the society. Hence, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 07-05-2026 SHL/NSL To:
