ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed directing the respondent to file a Final Report relating to Crime No.15 of 2014 on the file of the Inspector of

Police, Central Crime Branch, Salem City.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.15 of 2014, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, the FIR in Crime No.15 of 2014 was closed as "further action dropped". Subsequently, it was reopened for further investigation in the year 2017 and the investigation is pending. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the respondent is directed to file the final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
