.. Defendants Civil Suit filed under Order IV Rule 1 of Original Side Rules 1956 read with Order VII Rule 1 CPC praying for the following judgment and decree against the defendant.
a) for recovery of a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- as damages as against the defendants 1 to 4 jointly and severally with future interest at 18% per annum from date of filing of the suit and till date of realization for having caused to publish a defamatory article about the plaintiff; b) for a permanent injunction restraining the defendants, their men, agents, servants, person or persons claiming through them from giving interview, statement or article in any form connecting the plaintiff with cable TV business in future; and c) costs of the suit;

J U D G M E N T
The learned counsel for the plaintiff has submitted that the suit may be dismissed as withdrawn and made an endorsement in the plaint stating that the plaintiff is not interested to proceed with the suit and prayed for dismissal of the suit as not pressed.
