Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners from the date of appointment as was done in the case of other Cooks, by considering the representation dated 29.08.2015 made by the first petitioner and 03.09.2015 made by the petitioners 2 to 15 and confer all the consequential benefits.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The case of the petitioners is that they were appointed as Cook in various Government Backward Class Welfare Girls Hostels in the year 1997, 1998 and 2000 on consolidated pay of Rs.500/- by the respondents 3 and 4, before the bifurcation of Chengalpattu M.G.R. District to Thiruvallur District. According to the petitioners,they are entitled for regularisation.Since it was not considered, they made representations to the respondents on 29.08.2015 and 03.09.2015.Since no order has been passed by the respondents, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the *first and second respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 29.08.2015 and 03.09.2015 and pass orders,on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners.
