O R D E R

This relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.01.2015, with regard to the pensionary benefits, including notional promotions on par with Juniors.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner contended that the writ petitioner was holding the post of Tahsildar and retired from the service. Disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the writ petitioner during the years 1988 and 1997. Subsequently, the disciplinary proceedings were dropped and the writ petitioner was allowed to retire from his service with effect from 31.03.1998.

3.Since the writ petitioner was allowed retire from service with effect from the date of attaining the age of Superannuation, the writ petitioner made out a claim that he is entitled for the pensionary benefits and promotion to the higher post on par with his juniors. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 17.01.2015 to the first respondent and he has not received any reply till date.

4.In this view of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner 17.01.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 17.01.2015, along with the order passed today in this Writ Petition, to the first respondent, for consideration.
