Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the second respondent from collecting house tax with respect to the petitioner's property situated at No.37, Duvaragai Nagar, 3rd street, Gandhinagar (P.O), Thiruppur-641 603 until the application filed by the petitioner in T.A.T. No.1/2014 dated Nov. 2013 is disposed by the Tax Appeal Tribunal.

The petitioner has come forward with the aforesaid prayer. 2.Admittedly, the petitioner has preferred an appeal and the same is pending. Without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs that the Tax Appeal Tribunal shall dispose of the matter on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before passing any order on the appeal, the petitioner shall be heard.
