ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 127(2), 296(b), 310(2), 311, 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.153 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. Page No.1 of 4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the accused had waylaid the de facto complainant, abused him in filthy language, and by threatening him at knife point, robbed a sum of Rs.6000/-. Hence the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners/A5 & A7 stating that two previous cases of similar nature are pending against them. He further submitted that there are seven accused in this case and some of the accused are still in custody.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, taking note of the nature of allegation and also considering that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is very much required, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
