ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The Petitioners who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.10.2021 for the offence punishable under under Sections 8(c) 20(b)(ii)(C), 25,29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners along with other accused persons were in possession of 11 bags each containing 35 kgs and 200 grams of contraband and another bag containin 35 kgs and 200 grams of contraband. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and she has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 17.09.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the quantity of contraband involved in this case is of commercial quantity. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned government advocate and the quantity of contraband involved in this case is of commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
