Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certioriarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent in connection with the order passed by him in his Proc. Na.Ka.No.1728/2013/A3, dated 28.07.2014 and quash the same and direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with all monetary and service benefits. ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) Mr.Singaravelan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Village Secretary in Kappalangarai Panchayat by the 3rd respondent. However, his appointment was not considered and cancelled by the 2nd respondent on the ground that writ petition filed by earlier Secretary was pending, who was suspended from the post. Based on the order of stay passed by this Court, the petitioner was once again appointed on 22.08.2014 by the 2nd respondent. Further, it came to light that the earlier Secretary was also accommodated in some other panchayat. Hence, the issue raised in this writ petition has now become infructuous.

2. Recording, the submissions of the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
