This Court, by an order dated 04.07.2019, while disposing of Crl.O.P.No.17485 of 2019 issued a direction to the concerned trial court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.46 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of that order.

The learned trial judge/ Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu has sent a communication dated 16.05.2023 to the Registry seeking further extension of six months time for completing the trial proceedings in C.C.No.46 of 2017 3 This Court perused the letter dated 16.05.2023 sent by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu and is satisfied with the reasons for not disposing the C.C.No.46 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Court in the order dated 04.07.2019 in Crl.O.P.No.17485 of 2019.
