ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to change the classification of the land and delete the entry Kuttai in respect of the land in S.No.158/5 Vasanthapuram Revenue Village, 1/4

Namakkal District and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the land originally was classified as Punjai land, however, it is wrongly classified as Kuttai. In this regard, the peitioner has given a representation on 14.12.2023 to rectify the UDR mistake, the same same has not been considered. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

5. Since the limited relief is sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.12.2023 and in the event it comes to light that there is a wrong classification, send a report to the first respondent for passing of appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 2/4
