This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 476 days in filing the Restoration Petition to restore the Writ Petition in W.P.No.17703 of 2007 on the file of this Court, which was dismissed for non prosecution on 21.12.2020.

2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered subject to following condition:

"the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as cost to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai, within a period of one week from today.

3. On such payment, Registry is directed to restore the Writ Petition.
