ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.3 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused promised the defacto complainant that they will get job for his son and received a sum of Rs.3,50,000/-. They did not get any job and also repeatedly demanded money. When the defacto complainant demanded money, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant's son in filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not involved in the offence as alleged by the prosecution. There was a money dispute between the petitioner and defacto complainant, for that reason, the defacto complainant lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and prayed for granting anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that this is a case of job racketing and investigation is pending and prayed for dismissal of the petition. 5.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the nature of offence of job racketing and investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 14-07-2025 gbi Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
