Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 BNSS to direct the learned II ADSJ, Puducherry to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail application on the date of surrender in Crime No. 04/2026 on the file of 2nd respondent police on the very same day and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry to consider the surrender of the petitioners and to accept the bail petition on the same day in Crime No.04 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police. rd
2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3 respondent is dispensed with.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners abused the defacto complainant by making caste-related remarks. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioners.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that nd respondent Court in connection with Crime No.04 of 2026 on the file of the 2 police. The petitioners shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
