Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the second respondent in RFL/ANAIMALAI/24/2025 dated 25.04.2025 and quash the same as illegal, void and against the provisions of the Registration Act and 1/4

thereby directed the second respondent to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to call for the records of the second respondent in RFL/ANAIMALAI/24/2025 dated 25.04.2025.

2. The respondents have refused to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on the ground that the original of the documents have not been produced.

2. This issue is no longer res integra, it has been settled by the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gopi Vs. State of Tamil Nadu reported in 2025 SCC Online 740 and Pappu Vs. Sub-Registrar, 2024 (4) CTC 525.

3. Hence, the impugned order is quashed, the Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be a direction to the respondents to register the sale deed within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of the order in the website of this Court. No costs.
