PRAYER Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of a Writ directing the respondents to withdraw the Look Our Circular issued against the Petitioner in connection with the alleged offence in Crime No.10of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chengalpattu Town Police Station, Chengalpattu, the 2nd Respondent herein. ORDER

Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or Order or Direction in the nature of a Writ directing the respondents to withdraw the Look Our Circular issued against the Petitioner in connection with the alleged offence in Crime No.10 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chengalpattu Town Police Station, Chengalpattu, the 2nd Respondent herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been charged with the offences under Section 318(4) of BNS and Sections 5 and 7(3) of the Lotteries Regulation Act, 1998. The petitioner is working in Dubai. The petitioner had earlier sought anticipatory bail before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.2276 of 2025, which was granted on 30.01.2025 and this Court directed the authorities to keep in abeyance the look out circular issued as against the petitioner for the period of four weeks. Thereafter ,the petitioner had complied with the conditions. Now, the petitioner wants to go back to Dubai. He further submitted that the petitioner's family members are residing in Coimbatore and the petitioner frequently come to India. He will not evade the trial proceedings. Hence, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to withdraw the Look Out Circular issued against him. 3/7

In view of the abovesaid submission, this Court directs the petitioner to file an affidavit before the concerned Investigating Officer/respondent Police, furnishing particulars regarding his family members, address, contact numbers, details of the proposed journey and other relevant particulars. Upon filing of such affidavit by the petitioner, the look out notice issued against the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance until further orders.
