ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the appeal petition submitted by the petitioner dated 18.11.2014 in accordance with law and to pass appropriate direction within a reasonable period.

2. Mr.D.Venkatachalam, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she preferred an appeal dated 08.11.2014 in the requisite format by remitting a sum https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Rs.250/- in the challan and submitted the same before the first respondent on 18.11.2014. Further the petitioner has submitted that inspite of the appeal being filed on 18.11.2014, the first respondent has not passed any orders till date.

4. Mr.Venkatachalam, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal petition dated 18.11.2014 within a stipulated time, if the papers are in order.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal petition dated 18.11.2014 preferred by the petitioner, if the papers are otherwise in order, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
