The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.06.2024 in Crime No.24 of 2024, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 417, 406, 420 and 506(i) of IPC, seeks bail.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner was running a you tube channel in Media, in which the defacto complainant was working as an employee. She proposed her love to the petitioner, which was refused by him, since he is a married person and also has one child, for which, the defacto complainant gave a false complaint against the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 01.06.2024 and he is ready to abide any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police raised objection for granting bail to the petitioner stating that the defacto complainant worked along with the petitioner on a You tube channel, where the petitioner with intention, asked her to T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

drl marry him, since the defacto complainant refused, the petitioner gave her intoxicating tablets in cool drinks, at that time, the petitioner had sexual relationship with that woman, resulting in her pregnancy. He further submitted that the petitioner also received Rs.5 lakhs from the defacto complainant on several occasion. Following this, the petitioner threatened the defacto complainant by showing some videos, claiming that he will upload them in the media. He further submitted that no medical record and the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. was not yet recorded. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. However, he opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. Considering the grave nature of offence and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the investigation is at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
