Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to forthwith register the sale deed of the petitioner dated 06.05.2025 without insisting on the production of the original parent document dated 29.11.2006, Document No.10511 of 2006 by the petitioner.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to forthwith register the sale deed of the petitioner dated 06.05.2025 without insisting on the production of the original parent document No.10511 of 2006 dated 29.11.2006.

2. The respondent has refused to register the sale deed presented by the petitioner on the ground that the original parent documents have not been produced.

3. This issue is no longer res integra, it has been settled by the judgment of the Supreme Court in Gopi Vs. State of Tamil Nadu reported in 2025 SCC Online 740, and Pappu Vs. Sub-Registrar, 2024 (4) CTC 525.

4. Hence, the impugned order is quashed, the Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be a direction to the respondent to register the sale deed within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of the order in the website of this Court, without insisting upon the production of the 2/4

original parent documents. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
