ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier, enquiry was conducted by the respondent police, in which, there was a demand for payment of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) in favour of the defacto complainant. He further submitted that petitioner is willing to cooperate with the enquiry.

3. The Learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the petitioner was summoned for enquiry on receipt of current paper from the Commissioner of Police. The petitioner had appeared and admitted the transactions between the petitioner and the said Annapoorani/defacto complainant. The petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has also agreed to settle the issue and also gave an undertaking. Now, he has filed this petition as though he has been unnecessarily called for enquiry and harassed.

4. Considering the submission, to resolve the issue, the petitioner is directed to to appear before the respondent police in connection with the enquiry initiated at the instance of the said Annapoorani. Thereafter, the respondent police to conclude the enquiry and act upon the same in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
