The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 21.06.2015 in the matter of fixation of seniority of the writ petitioner in the post of Live Stock Inspector Grade -II.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that the petitioner died during the pendency of the writ petition.

3. Since the representation submitted by the deceased employee, pertaining to fixation of seniority, no further adjudication is required as there is no prayer for promotion or monetary benefits. However, if any grievance exist in this regard, the legal representatives of the deceased employee are at liberty to approach the competent authority for the purpose of redressal of their grievances. The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
