ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.04.2026 and provide police protection for the petitioners life.

2. Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for respondents 1 and 2, submitted that already a complaint has been received and CSR has also been issued.

3. In this regard, the respondent police is directed to issue summons on both the parties under Section 64 of BNSS and after giving opportunity of hearing to either parties, dispose of the pending enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if found necessary

that the petitioner should be accorded with necessary police protection, the same may be extended on payment of necessary charges in terms of GO.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
