Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2014 to cut electricity of schedule property as described in this petition within a time frame. The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2014.

2. The case of the petitioner is that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent in respect of the subject property.

3. The counter affidavit filed by the 3rd respondent reveals that at No.41, Jalladianpettai village in Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District in Old Survey No.195 part with Patta No.603, New Survey number as per Patta 241/8, there was no new service connection effected recently.

4. The Writ Petitioner submitted a representation in the year 2014. The counter affidavit filed by the respondent in the year 2016 reveals that no such service was effected.

5. This being the factum, the relief as it sought for cannot be granted at this length of time. If any other grievances exist, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the competent authority in the manner known to law.

6. With this observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
