ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.Sounthar J.) Writ Petition has been instituted seeking direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 20.04.026 and permit the petitioner to run the bunk Shop at No.862, Kabalamoorthy Salai, Chinthadripet, Chennai600 002.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he is self-employed and, in order to eke out his livelihood, he set up a bunk shop at the aforesaid premises. It is his grievance that the respondents and their officials are unlawfully interfering with the running of the said bunk shop. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents seeking permission to run the bunk shop. However, no action has been taken so far by the respondents.
3. Ms.K.Aswini Devi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that competent authority namely the Chairman, Zonal Vending Committee has to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.04.2026. However, the petitioner has not submitted the representation before the competent authority.
4. In view of the same, petitioner is directed to submit his representation before the competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date of
receipt of a copy of this order. If any such representation is submitted, the same shall be dealt with by the competent authority and final orders shall be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter.
