Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to reimburse him the entire amount of medical expenses Rs.1,26,367/- with 18% interest from 18th November 2014 to till the date of realization forthwith and to pay him a compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- for causing mental agony and financial loss to him. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel for the respondent no.1 submitted that the amount claimed by the petitioner for a sum of Rs.1,26,367/- would be paid within a period of two weeks.

2.A request has been made that there is no necessity to claim interest for the said amount.

3.This Court has persuaded to the petitioner, party-in-person, a practising lawyer not to insist for interest on the compensation. The petitioner, party-in-person also fairly agreed for the same. 4.Considering the same, a direction is issued to the respondent no.1 to reimburse the medical expenses of a sum of Rs.1,26,367/- to the petitioner, party-in-person, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
