The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act in Crime No.428 of 2024 on the file of the respondent/police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.It is the case of the prosecution that on 08.06.2023 at 16.00 p.m. the complainant got secret information from a spy and made a vehicle checkup while searching 1 person at Mettupalayam junction was in possession of contra band Ganja 2 Kilogram, therafter they went to the house of A1 and made a search at his residence where 10 Kilogram of Ganja was recovered. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he undertake to abide by any conditions to be imposed upon the petitioner and he is ready to furnish substantial sureties before the satisfaction Court.

Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.

of A1 where they found 10 Kgs of Ganja and Rs.17,00,000/- cash. It is matter for investigation.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the materials available on record. 6.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and considering the gravity of the offence and also taking note of the fact that the case is at initial stage and it needs detailed investigation. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 28.06.2024 ah 2/3
