Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to claim and pay the petitioner pension regularly every month with arrears of pension from 01.04.2009 with interest @ 9% p.a. to till the month of pension is paid regularly.

ORDER

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the writ petitioner has died. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the legal heirs of the petitioner will be entitled for life time arrears of pension.

2. In view of the death of the petitioner, this writ petition has abated and liberty is granted to the legal heirs to make a representation to the respondent claiming for life time arrears of pension of the deceased petitioner and thereafter approach this Court seeking for necessary directions.
