O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to further investigate the case in Crime No.816 of 2020 and to alter the provision from Section 174 of Cr.P.C.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that already an alteration report has been submitted before learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai and the provision has been altered from section 174 of Cr.P.C. to Section 306 of IPC. The learned counsel further submitted that the respondent police will effectively investigate the case and file final report as expeditiously as possible.

3. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
